CRANEMAPS soll eine audiovisuelle Installation aus Vogelstimmen (Graukranichen) und Naturklängen werden. Diese orientiert sich an drei Hauptrouten des Kranichzuges in Nord- und Osteuropa. Dazu sollen in Naturschutzgebieten Tonaufnahmen gemacht werden um sie in einer haptischen Arbeit zu integrieren: Ein interaktives Stickbild als Abbild der Reiseroute, deren Orte durch Berührungssensoren im Stoff hörbar gemacht werden.
Durch diese Arbeit sollen Naturerfahrungen näher gebracht und über auditiver und haptischer Ebene die Emotionen angesprochen werden.

Soundscapes von der Reise werde ich bei Soundcloud sammeln und regelmäßig aktualisieren.

I am currently working on my artistic work CRANEMAPS, which is to be an audiovisual installation of bird calls (common cranes) and sounds of nature. It is based on three main crane migration routes in Northern and Eastern Europe. Sound recordings will be made in nature reserves and integrated into a haptic work: An interactive embroidery picture as an image of the travel route, whose locations are made audible by touch sensors in the fabric.
Through this work, experiences of nature are to be brought closer and emotions are to be addressed on an auditive and haptic level.
